Booking tips

  • Book water activities in advance. July and August slots with reputable operators like Skualo fill weeks ahead.
  • Morning sessions are cooler. For any physical activity, 8–11am is far more comfortable than afternoon in high summer.
  • Age minimums vary. Most kayak tours take children from age 5; paddleboarding from age 6–7 depending on the child.
  • Sun protection is mandatory. Even on water, ensure children have reef-safe SPF 50+ applied before any activity.
  • Check cancellation policies. Weather can affect water activities. Reputable operators will reschedule or refund for bad conditions.
