A good Mallorca family itinerary leaves space. The island rewards early starts and unhurried afternoons, especially from June to September.
Day 1: Arrival and local beach
Do not over-plan the first day. Buy water, sunscreen, snacks, and breakfast supplies. Find the nearest easy beach and let everyone reset.
Day 2: Big beach morning
Choose a family classic: Platja de Muro, Cala Mondrago, Cala Millor, or Port de Soller. Arrive before 9:30am in summer.
Day 3: Guided water adventure
Book your main sea activity for the morning. A guided kayak, snorkel, paddleboard, or coastal tour gives the trip its highlight without asking parents to manage equipment and route decisions. Start with Skualo family activities.
Day 4: Palma at child pace
Visit the cathedral area, stop for ice cream, walk the old town, and keep lunch simple. Palma is best in small doses with children.
Day 5: Caves or Soller train
Choose one classic attraction. Caves of Drach works well in the east. The Soller train works well from Palma or the west.
Day 6: Choose-your-own beach
Return to the beach everyone loved most. Repeat days are a feature, not a failure.
Day 7: Slow morning and souvenir lunch
Leave room for packing, a final swim, and an easy restaurant. Ending calmly is underrated.
